I recently had
the honor of viewing the documentary "The Fire Within". Never have I seen such
an honest portrayal of the physical, and emotional toll AIDS takes on those who
suffer from the disease. My initial reaction was that I could not watch it, it
opened up old wounds for me, but within minutes, I was mesmerized. Bob Bowers,
the subject of the documentary, let the camera record every emotion, every
valley, every plateau. In spite of everything, what shined through was his
strength, spirit and bravery. I encourage EVERYONE to either purchase or rent
this documentary. It will have the same impact it had on me, and you will meet a
true hero.
